Thorn Street is a geospatial engineering firm built to close that gap. We believe spatial systems should be designed with the same rigor and intention as the decisions they support.

Connor brings a background in both software engineering and geospatial systems, from coordinate reference systems and topology rules to production web applications and data pipelines.
Before founding Thorn Street, Connor worked in the defense sector. That experience shaped the firm's focus on reliable, production-grade geospatial infrastructure.

Few small geospatial vendors are built to clear enterprise procurement. Small shops bring competitive pricing and speed. Large firms bring the controls procurement requires. Firms that bring all three sit in a gap with limited competition.
Our SOC 2 Type 1 audit is underway: an independent examination of how we handle access, change management, and incident response. SOC 2 is the same type of vendor security framework used by companies like AWS, GitHub, and Mapbox. The goal is to pair small-shop pricing and speed with the controls enterprise vendor risk programs require.
